PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TENTANG POTENSI ADIKSI INTERNET PADA REMAJA DI ERA COVID 19

Abstract

Introduction: Currently, there is a COVID-19 pandemic in all parts of the world, including Indonesia. So that the government enforces the policy of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB). The implementation of these policies, especially for teenagers, has the potential to increase internet use in daily life. The potential for internet addiction use and how to use the internet wisely and healthily needs to be recognized, not only by teenagers, but also by education practitioners and policy makers. Method: This community service is carried out by providing health education to 44 students of the Midwifery Department of Midwifery IKesT Muhammadiyah Palembang.


Result: A total of 37 students who filled out the Internet Addiction Diagnosis Questionnaire (KDAI) through the google form, of 37 people who filled out the questionnaire, 32.4% (12 people) were indicated to have internet addiction, these students will be given education according to the internet addiction management scheme in adolescents in a comprehensive and holistic manner. The increase in participants' knowledge can be seen through the comparison of the results of the pretest and posttest given before and after the health education/education.
