The Education of Benefits Physical Activities in the Elderly People at Kecamatan Sukarami, Palembang

Abstract
Physical activity has great benefits for the body functions of the elderly people. Among them are to avoid cardiovascular disease, hypertension, depression and prevent injury from falling. Factors that have decreased the body makes the elderly have to really pay attention to the dose of exercise and the type of exercise to perform. For this reason, this activity provides education for the elderly to carry out physical activities well in order to get the desired function. The results of this physical activity were found that the elderly with light physical activity 17 people (55%), and the elderly with moderate physical activity were 9 people (30%) while the elderly with heavy physical activity were 4 people (15%).
