Abstract
Water is natural material necessary for human life, animal and plants, that is a medium of transportation of food substances. Water is also source of energy and various other purposes. The main problem faced in relation to water resources is the quantity of water that is no longer able to meet the increasing needs and the quality of water for domestic purposes that decreasing from year to year. The purpose of this community service activity is to ensure the quality of well water in the timbangan village is suitable for comsumtion and provide education to the public about drinking water quality referring to the regulation of health minister No. 32 Tahun 2017. The result of well water pH test in timbangan village are known that all sample points are in accordance with quality standards (regulation of health minister No. 32 Tahun 2017), while the TDS value between 220mg/L and the highest rate 540 mg/L and from the result of education the comuunity has understood the importance of well water treatment as comsumption water in the timbangan village
