V-Uro Emergency Awareness sebagai Intervensi Edukatif untuk Meningkatkan Kesadaran Remaja terhadap Faktor Psikologis dan Klinis Urolithiasis
Main Article Content
Abstract
The prevalence of kidney stones in children and adolescents has increased by 10–15% in recent years. This is related to various challenges commonly faced by adolescents, such as hormonal changes, irregular eating patterns, insufficient fluid intake, and emotional stress. Studies show that stress can trigger hormonal and metabolic changes that increase the risk of kidney stone formation. However, effective stress management can help reduce this risk. Stress management is not only a psychological aspect, but an integral part of a holistic approach to urolithiasis. Education on stress management and the danger signs of urolithiasis using animated videos effectively attracts attention in conveying information and can increase adolescent awareness in stress management, healthy lifestyle changes, and recognizing the danger signs of urolithiasis. The education was conducted on August 12, 2025, with 35 respondents at Muhammadiyah 1 High School, Palembang. Based on the results of this activity, adolescents' knowledge of stress management and the danger signs of urolithiasis increased.
