Integration of Multidisciplinary Health Services in Public Health Examination in Hamlet 2, Sungai Pinang Village, Rambutan District

Abstract
This community service program is designed to enhance community awareness, knowledge, and behavior in maintaining health through a multidisciplinary health service approach. The activities were conducted by students from Universitas Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Palembang in Dusun II RT 05 and RT 07, Sungai Pinang Village, in February 2026. The methods employed included an initial survey to identify health issues, priority analysis of problems using a scoring method, and the implementation of interventions such as free health check-ups and integrated health education involving various health disciplines. The survey results from 186 respondents revealed several major health problems, including low awareness of laboratory examinations (61.8%), the habit of burning waste (53.3%), low utilization of health information technology (80%), high complaints of joint pain and movement disorders (69.5%), and insufficient community understanding of balanced nutrition (47.8%). Based on the priority scoring of problems, low laboratory examination awareness emerged as the primary issue. The implementation of multidisciplinary health services successfully increased community knowledge and participation regarding the importance of early disease detection and healthy lifestyle behaviors. The conclusion of the activities indicates that the integration of multidisciplinary health services is effective in raising community health awareness and can serve as a model for an interdisciplinary collaboration-based approach to health services at the village level.
